Wood

Wood is a more unforgiving material and can easily leave bruises if used with much force.

Here are some different models of paddles I like they are from Exotic Paddles and Hansen Paddlewerks:

The paddles made by Exotic Paddlesare the angel maker which is great because of it’s handle and size,  Bottom Lover, Fratboy watch out when this one comes out, Flapjack gets the whole area around the sweet spot, Long handled Captains choice this is one of my favorites to use because the long handle gives lots of leverage second only to the bath brush. The last two paddles are by Paddlewerks. The first  last is the pocket paddle, a favorite for parties because it is easy to use and to carry around as it fits in a pocket, The second is long handled flat spoon shaped paddle called a ferule that is 16″ long. This paddle is especially nasty for getting into small areas around the crease being able to cover every inch of the bottom with no difficulty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hairbrushes come in many shapes and sizes the first that is pictures is I believe ebony I try to keep that one hidden, the next is a heavier wooden hairbrush that I refinished it is a stinger, the next is a paddle shaped like a hairbrush from WhackMePaddles which I can attest get my attention, the next is one of my favorite brushes both to use and have used on me. It is the bath brush from Vermont country store, unfortunately I don’t think they carry it anymore, the last is a pocket hairbrush paddle from Shadowlane, which I don’t think they carry anymore.

Canescome in many shapes and sizes and take more practice to weild with any skill. Before using them on a person make sure to try them on a folded pillow. If you can get a velvet pillow or a pillow with a pile finish all the better. The pile/velvet will show where your cane strokes land and if you are wrapping. Wrapping occurs when the cane stroke travels around the bottom and tags the side of the hip or leg. Canes have a lot of flex and generally travel a lot farther than one would think.

 The canes in the picture are all from Canes4Pain. All the canes have a lifetime warranty and come from lightweight whippy canes to the heavy duty thumper canes which should only be used very lightly.

 

Other cane types are shaped canes such as the loopy canes where the cane is twisted. These can be especially painful.
